The Buffalo Zoo
The Buffalo Zoo occupies an area of 23.5 acres and is considered the third oldest zoo in the United States. It was founded in 1875 and contains animals from all over the world. Local fauna, exotic and endangered species roam freely in big and small cages with trees, ponds, and streams resembling their natural habitats. Among the precious animals housed at the Buffalo Zoo is Zhanna, a lovely Amur Tiger, one of only 500 such animals remaining in the world.
