Glimmerglass Festival
Glimmerglass Festival, held previously under the name Glimmerglass Opera, is what is essentially an annual season of operas at the Alice Busch Opera Theater on Otsego Lake, located eight miles north of Cooperstown, New York. Established in 1975, it is now the second-largest such event in the country. This outstanding opera company is celebrated for creating new and uncommon works.
